A Worthy Opportunity that AI Enthusiasts Shouldn't Miss

Being an undergrad, I always find myself challenging in finding remotely collaborative AI Projects, especially when you're still pursuing a Bachelor's Degree and you're likely to be rejected at most companies due to the lack of a degree. Even tho if you're graduated with no experience in your desirable career field, you're still having less percentage of being employed and we complain about it.

However, we shouldn't get depressed about it because organizations like Omdena, which gave me a remarkable opportunity to work in Real-World AI projects without needing a degree, exists.

For the past few months, I got a chance to work at Omdena with more than 50 collaborators from around the world on two projects namely

1) Detecting Weed Through Edge Computer Vision by WeedBot

2) Building Sustainable Livestock Farming using Computer Vision by FAROMATIC SL

Those projects enhanced not only my technical AI skill emphasis on data collection, annotation, pre/post processing, model research/implementation and deployment on edge devices but also the soft skills such as presentation skill, problem-approaching, cultural empathy, team spirit and responsibility on tasks.

Which is why I'm keen to encourage every AI Enthusiasts to apply at Omdena, you will definitely get a phenomenon work experience at there. You don't need to have that much of skill and experience but passion and belief in yourself.
